CHURCH:
The mission of Children’s Church is to follow God’s word in Proverbs 22:6 “Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not turn from it” through studying the Bible, learning scriptures and participating in various activities supporting the Word. It is our goal to teach, encourage and inspire our youth to learn more about God’s ways and His expectations of us.

SENIORS MINISTRY:
The mission of the Seniors on the Move Ministry is to provide a variety of activities to support the spiritual, physical, and social needs of the Senior Citizens in the church. The ministry purpose is to engage members of the church 65 years and older to fellowship in safe and loving environment. The events may occur in or outside of the church setting.

YOUTH MINISTRY:
Youth Ministry promotes Christian values and growth for all youths of the church consistent with the faith of the Church and to become involved spiritually in the church as well as the community. This ministry hosts an annual youth retreat, varies spiritual and educational workshops, it also engages in community service and outreach projects to assist the less fortunate. It is open to all youth between the ages of 6-20, male and female.

The purpose of the Music Ministry is to share the gospel
of Jesus Christ through song, encourage believers in their walk with Christ,
lead the congregation in worship and provide an avenue through which
individuals may share their gift and be an integral part of the worship. The
Music Ministry spreads the Word of God through music experiences. The
divisions of the First Baptist Church Music Ministry are as follows: Senior
Choir, Mass Choir, Male Choir, Adult Inspirational
Choir, Youth/Sunbeam Choir, and Gospel Choir.
