Operations Director
Job Posting:
First Baptist Church of James Island is seeking a highly motivated, creative and organized individual to fill the Operations Director position for our currently under construction 16,000 square foot Community Life Center (CLC).
The Operations Director will oversee a team of staff and volunteer leaders and connect with all areas of operations thereby bringing increased focus to develop programs, events, initiatives, and resources that produce an inviting event space and community oriented atmosphere at the Gadsden-Murray Community Life Center.
Job Duties:
• An ongoing display of Spiritual maturity and commitment to a Christian lifestyle and to the CLC’s mission and core values.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Exceptional organizational, leadership, and time-management skills
• Must possess the ability to be task and goal oriented with a passion for serving people and the community.
• A Bachelor’s degree preferred in Management, Finance or equivalent. A minimum of 3 years work experience in a related field required.
• Possess the ability to delegate tasks effectively and efficiently
• Knowledge of non-profit organization structures preferred.
• Working knowledge of computer and Microsoft/Google applications.
