At First Baptist Church of James Island, we're always excited to welcome new visitors. We hope you'll join us for service, and we want to make your visit as comfortable as possible. Here's what you can expect when you come to our 10:00 a.m. service.
Our church is located at 1110 Camp Road, and parking is located behind the church and across the street at our Landmark Center. Our parking lot attendees will happily guide you to one of the church entrances right from your vehicle. If you have mobility restrictions, feel free to use one of the spots closest to the door. We like to keep them free for people who need assistance.
When you walk in, find one of our hospitality greeters or ushers, and introduce yourself. They're usually stationed at the front doors and Welcome Desk, and they'll show you where everything is. They'll help you find the Nursery and Children Church rooms if you have kids. Our greeters can also point you to the restrooms and lounges, located all around the edifice. If you have any questions about the service itself, the greeters are able to provide helpful answers.
Be sure to hang around after the service, you'll have a chance to meet our pastor or his ministerial representative, along with many other members in the church. We'd also love to get to know you so you're a familiar face the next time you come.
