The Music Ministry of First Baptist Church of James Island proclaims the word of God through “music”. The ministry is not an object to be admired so much as an instrument to teach, comfort, inspire, persuade, convince and motivate. We welcome members to join this ministry as we lift up the Name of Lord through song. The Music Ministry Department consist of the 5 church choirs: Gospel Choir, Mass Choir, Male Choir, Senior Choir, Young Adult Inspirational Choir, and the Praise Team. All choirs are lead by our Choral Director Brother Mario Desaussure.
